Drug bust in Dauphin

A traffic stop in Dauphin on the evening of August 6, 2010, resulted in the seizure of cannabis marijuana.

Shortly after 10pm, officers from the Dauphin Municipal RCMP Detachment observed a car weaving in its lane on Main Street in Dauphin. When the officers approached the car, they detected the smell of marijuana from inside the car. A subsequent search of the car and it’s driver resulted in the seizure of approximately 2 grams of cannabis marijuana.

A 23-year-old Dauphin man is scheduled to appear in court in Dauphin on October 5, 2010.
