As Manitoba’s Minister of Health I was honoured to proclaim May 22-28 Paramedic Services Week in our province. I was joined at the Manitoba Legislature for this official proclamation by several paramedics and representatives of the Paramedic Association of Manitoba.
Paramedic Services Week focuses attention on the diverse ways Manitoba’s paramedics’ work to save lives and improve health outcomes for thousands of people across the province. In Manitoba, paramedics are working every day on ambulances, in dispatch centres, in the air, on fire trucks, and with community first response agencies to better the lives of those they care for.
This week acknowledges the incredible work performed by paramedics and that they are a vital component of our health care system. These women and men save lives and work with integrity and excellence every day in their service to Manitobans
On behalf of the province of Manitoba, thank you for all that you do.
