View From the Legislature

Earlier this month I had the pleasure of visiting Friesen Drillers Ltd. to present a letter on behalf of Premier Brian Pallister, in recognition of Friesen Driller’s 125 years of business. I would like to share with you the message from the Premier:

On behalf of all Manitobans, I am pleased to extend my congratulations to the owners, management and staff of Friesen Drillers Ltd. on its 125th anniversary of business operations in our province.

Manitoba rests upon a foundation built by adventurous, imaginative entrepreneurs who believed in the potential of our province and were willing to work hard and take risks in order to achieve their dreams. Friesen Drillers is a prime example of that entrepreneurial spirit and leadership.

Now in its fourth generation of family ownership, it continues to be an industry leader and important contributor to Manitoba’s economy. I join all Manitobans in congratulating Friesen Drillers on achieving this significant milestone and extend my best wishes for the future.
