The horrific crash that killed fifteen people onboard the bus that was carrying the Humboldt Broncos hockey team to a Junior Hockey playoff game has both torn a community and united a country.

As the news of the tragedy spread across the country and around the world incredible acts of kindness began to arise. Millions of dollars have been raised to help the individuals and families who have been impacted and countless symbolic gestures of support have shown how deeply this has touched the country. In every way imaginable, support has poured into Humboldt in an effort to assist those who are grieving such a devastating loss.

And while Humboldt will forever have a connection to this loss, it will also forever be connected to the incredible acts of humanity that have flowed from it. Those who have been lost will forever be remembered, also remembered will be the thousands of individual acts of kindness. Let us keep the Humboldt Broncos, the community and all those who have been impacted in our prayers in the days ahead.
