View From the Legislature

Blumenort and Mitchell have just finished holding their annual community events and each were a great success. Both offered community and area residents so much to do and were very family focused.

Among the many events, my family and I enjoyed attending the parade in Blumenort and the breakfast in Mitchell. It is clear that community spirit is alive and well in the southeast.

A special thank you to the many volunteers who make these community events happen. There is so much planning and preparation that goes into making a community celebration happen and they could not succeed without dedicated organizers, sponsors and volunteers. Congratulations to each of you.
