Sign Fabricator

Duties include:

• Review work orders/layouts.
• Check inventory for necessary materials and place orders.
• Distinguish the different material types and their various applications.
• Welding, lighting, and wiring as required.
• Use power tools to cut materials.
• Organizing the work to be done, completing paperwork and bring to the staging area for quality review.
• Keeping area clean and tidy, free from tripping/slipping hazards.
• Other duties as needed.

What you need:

• Able to lift 50lbs.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Welding experience is a definite asset.
• Basic computer skills.
• Previous sign experience is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Positive attitude and relational personality.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on supporting the whole team.
• Love working in a team environment.
• Able to be flexible and meet tight deadlines.

Benefits to working with the Signex team:

• Full benefits package after 3 months of employment
• Summer hours are Monday – Thursday 6:45am – 4pm, Friday 6:45am – 12pm
• Regular hours are Monday – Friday 7:30am – 4pm
• Comprehensive on-site training
• Pension Plan after 2 years of full-time employment

This is a full-time position and has the opportunity for some pre-approved overtime.
