The City of Steinbach’s Parks & Recreation Department is looking for friendly, energetic individuals to fill numerous summer job positions.
Areas of opportunity include:
- Parks, sport field maintenance, grass mowing and trimming
- Beautification department including planting, weeding, watering trees, flowers and shrubs
- Tree planting and maintenance
Qualifications:
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
Most of the positions are considered full-time from May to August, with some extending into the fall. Some weekend shifts are required. First Aid/CPR will be considered an asset. Condition of employment includes an acceptable Criminal Record Check and Driver’s Abstract.
