Freight / Groceries – Class 1A Driver

DW Peters Transport is hiring. I’m looking to hire a flexible general freight / grocery delivery driver.

• Full time
• $70,000+ per year

Summary:

• General freight / grocery delivery driver
• Monday to Friday and the occasional Saturday
• Southern Manitoba deliveries home every day
• Benefits include dental, health, vision
• Start times vary during the week, some days start at 2 am and others start at 6 am and shifts can be approximately 12 hours in length.

Applicant must have:

• a valid Class 1 licence with air
• Minimum 2 years semi driving  experience
• successful applicant will receive paid training
• must be able to drive a manual
• Must be able to read, write and speak effectively in English.
• be able to lift and pull heavy items on a pallet jack.
•  must be able and willing to travel to the shop daily which is located in Niverville Manitoba
• warehouse is located in Winnipeg at 1615 King Edward Street
