Wood Shop Laborer

We are currently looking for a Wood Shop Laborer to join our Countertop Shop.

Key responsibilities:

• Reading drawings, in order to assess the materials needed in fabricating countertops,
• Cutting of countertops and application of finished ends.
• Responsible for millwork items,
• Receiving and unloading of products,
• Shop care and cleanup;
• and other duties as assigned.

This position requires standing, repetitive moderate-to-heavy lifting, operating forklifts and performing accurate measurements. You will be required to use a variety of light and heavy machinery to make necessary cuts and to assemble the fabricated components.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience working with hand tools, table saws and other fabricating tools.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift repetitively.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with co-workers in a professional manner.
