Tools and Tool Rental Sales Associate

(Full Time Hours Guaranteed)

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Tools & Tool Rental Sales Associate to join our team.

This role is responsible for assisting customers with tool purchases and rentals, providing product knowledge, and performing basic maintenance and inspection of rental equipment to ensure safety and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with selecting tools and equipment for purchase or rental
• Provide product knowledge and recommendations based on customer needs
• Process sales and rental transactions accurately
• Inspect rental tools before and after each use. Perform basic maintenance on rental equipment (cleaning, testing, minor adjustments, replacing worn parts as needed)
• Ensure all tools meet safety and operational standards
• Maintain organized and clean sales floor and rental area
• Load and unload rental equipment, as needed.
• Some heavy lifting is required.
• Track rental inventory and report damaged or missing equipment
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous sales experience is required.
• Knowledge of power tools and the construction industry is a definite asset, but training will be provided.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail, strong time management and organizational skills
• Provide professional and courteous assistance to customers and work well in a team environment
