Community Facility Supervisor

Duties:

The successful candidate will be responsible to coordinate and oversee the year round operations of Kleefeld’s Recreational facilities and community greenspaces with a solid operational and maintenance program.

This job requires you to be well organized, have a keen eye for detail, and physical stamina. The position is based on 40 hours/week and may include some overtime. Duties include staff training, supervision, maintenance of buildings and equipment, lawn maintenance, street cleanup, and other related activities to beautify the community.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of Grade 12 education;
• Valid Class 5 Drivers’ License;
• Access to personal transportation;
• Experience in managing and supervising in a collaborative team environment;
• Experience in equipment handling and maintenance;
• Ability meet deadlines and to work independently;
• Ability to meet physical demands;
• Ability and experience working with the public;

Compensation:

The Rural Municipality of Hanover will provide a competitive wage to the successful applicant according to municipal salary grid and based on qualifications and experience. The job has a wage range of $27.50 to $32.35 per hour.
