Warehouse Receiver

We have an opportunity for an experienced, knowledgeable, and motivated Warehouse Receiver to ensure the accurate and seamless reception and processing of incoming shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving and inspecting of incoming shipments to verify contents, count, quality and damage.
• Processing of material receipts and shipments into the inventory and accounting systems.
• Report receiving deviations to the purchasing group.
• Inventory management is an essential function for this position.
• Load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and use of any necessary equipment, such as forklift.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous warehouse experience is a definite asset.
• Must understand the impact of this position to other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of incoming items.
• Must work well in a team and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong data entry, organizational skills, and attention to detail are definite assets.
• Preferably experienced with a forklift, order picker, and pallet jack. Must have willingness to train to receive appropriate certification for required use of powered equipment.
