Your days will include:

Leading, supervising, and supporting maintenance staff in daily fleet operations and employee development

Ensuring preventative maintenance, repairs, inspections, and DVIR deficiencies are completed efficiently and on time

Monitoring fleet uptime, repairing turnaround times, and maintaining KPIs to improve operational performance

Coordinating maintenance activities with Logistics, Operations, Dispatch, and other departments to minimize downtime

Developing and implementing processes, workflows, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance department efficiency

Ensuring compliance with safety standards, government regulations, and company maintenance policies

Managing operational reporting, payroll, inventory, KPI tracking, vendor relationships, and cost-control initiatives

Supporting fleet lifecycle management through warranty administration, CAPEX planning, refurbishment projects, and maintenance technology implementation

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience working with heavy equipment and tractor/trailer maintenance operations
• Strong leadership and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and operational demands simultaneously
• Experience working with maintenance software, telematics systems, and operational reporting tools preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead change and build structure within a growing operation
• Comfortable working in high-pressure environments while maintaining professionalism
• Ability to coordinate and influence teams across multiple locations
