Accounting Assistant

We are searching for a dedicated and qualified Accounting Assistant that has the same values in work and life that we do.

You will be responsible for:

• Filing government remittances such as GST/PST, and payroll.
• Full-cycle data entry.
• Conducting financial analysis audits for our clients and team.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Updating company SOP’s.
• General administration tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience in a full-cycle accounting/bookkeeping role.
• Proficient in Microsoft applications.
• Experience in QB’s on-line is essential.
• Attention to detail is paramount.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• A proven capability to take ownership and follow-through.
• An ability to work independently.
• Past experience with Sage and QB’s is an asset.
• Experience working with construction companies is a plus.
