Recruiting Specialist

We are looking for a self-motivated, resourceful and target-oriented Recruiting Specialist to join our team in Steinbach, MB.

Pay – From $54,800

Responsibilities:

• Source and select prospective applicants for professional driving positions and provide information about pay packages, benefits, equipment, hiring and training processes.
• Field inquiries from prospective applicants via telephone, email, social media applications and in person.
• Continually promote the company positively to both the candidates and the current drivers, be present at company events and be a positive ambassador.
• Process applications in accordance with regulations and company policy, including reference checks, interviews, and employment verification.
• Review and evaluate driver applicants and provide information on orientation and training.
• Make travel arrangements and accommodations for new driver hires.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality with applicant personal information and legal documentation.
• Foster a relationship with new drivers and encourage their participation in referral program.
• Collaborative efforts to compare recruitment strategies and training efforts to ensure we are competitive and innovative.
• Partner with department to schedule road tests and receive feedback for candidates
• Social media branding, creative posting, management of communication on platforms.
• International Drivers Settlement Assistance

Requirements:

• Detail orientated
• Team player
• Organized and works effectively under pressure
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Recruiting/Talent Acquisition experience preferred
• International recruiting experience a plus
• Transportation specific experience a plus
