Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations. This role requires a proactive approach to prevent downtime and maintain safety standards across the plant or facility. The Maintenance Technician plays a vital part in supporting operational efficiency and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and identify root causes of equipment failures
• Repair or replace faulty components using hand tools and power tools
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and repairs
• Assist in installing new equipment or upgrading existing systems
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and company policies
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests to minimize operational disruptions
• Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and processes

Skills

• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
• Proficiency in using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc.
• Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, and saws is preferred
• Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Good communication skills for effective teamwork and reporting
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety protocols
