Temporary spring roadway weight restrictions in Steinbach will commence on March 10, 2017 at 6am and continue until June 10, 2017 or until further notice.
Spring weight restrictions are posted on all gravel and asphalt surfaced streets in order to avoid roadway damage during the spring thaw period. A load restriction of 65% of the normal legal axle load is posted on applicable Steinbach streets, as road conditions require.
The City of Steinbach’s Community Services Officer will be monitoring truck activity within Steinbach. The 65% of normal axle load rules will be applied, enforced and fines issued to violators accordingly.
