Steinbach RCMP are currently looking to identify a customer who recently lost his temper and assaulted staff with food and coffee at the McDonald’s restaurant located in Steinbach.

On December 4, 2021, Steinbach RCMP received a report of an irate customer at the McDonalds restaurant located on Highway 12 North in Steinbach. The incident occurred at approximately 11am.

Police say that a customer became upset with staff over an order placed at the drive-through. As a result, the irate customer threw the order of food at the drive-through employee hitting the employee with the food. The customer also hit a new food order out of the hand of a manager who was talking to him. The customer then proceeded back inside the restaurant and threw a cup of coffee towards the employees.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male in his 40’s, bald with a beard and has a heavy a build. He left the scene driving a blue Chrysler 200 with Manitoba plate KUE600.

Steinbach RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the male suspect involved in this incident.
