Stonewall RCMP are reporting than a large amount of stolen property was recently recovered during the search of a Winnipeg residence. As a result, an arrest warrant has been issued for Lee Stewart of Winnipeg.

On March 28, 2022 at approximately 8am, Stonewall RCMP responded to a break and enter at a business in the RM of Headingley. As a result of the incident, a large number of construction tools were stolen.

Investigation led officers from Stonewall RCMP, the Emergency Response Team, East District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team and Police Dog Services, to execute a search warrant at a residence located in Winnipeg. During the search, officers recovered a significant amount of property which had been stolen from the greater Winnipeg area.

RCMP identified a suspect connected to this incident and subsequently an arrest warrant was issued for 31-year-old Lee Brandon Stewart of Winnipeg. Stewart is now facing numerous criminal charges.

Lee Brandon Stewart is described as 6’1″ tall, weighs 175 lbs, has light brown hair and blue eyes.
