Steinbach RCMP are reporting that a recent structure fire has claimed the life of a 41-year-old man. The incident occurred at a residence located on Aspen Four Drive in Steinbach.
On May 12, 2022, at 8:05pm, Steinbach RCMP responded to a report of a structure fire at a local residence in Steinbach. Police say that once the fire had been brought under control and extinguished, firefighters entered the home and removed a 41-year-old male who was pronounced deceased.
No other injuries were reported in this incident and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
Steinbach RCMP along with the Office of the Fire Commissioner and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner continue to investigate this incident.
