Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information regarding the whereabouts or identity of a suspect involved in a recent stabbing incident that occurred in Steinbach.
On June 16, 2022, at approximately 8:20pm, Steinbach RCMP received a report of a stabbing that occurred at a location in the 300 block of 3rd Street in Steinbach.
Officers arrived on scene to find a 29-year-old male with multiple stab wounds. The man was taken to hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries.
Preliminary police investigation has revealed that the victim had an encounter with another male suspect when the assault occurred. This suspect did not remain at the scene and no arrest has been made at this time.
