Blue Hills RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing man from the Rural Municipality of Whitehead, 41-year-old Jordan Ross.

On June 17, 2022, at approximately 3:10pm, Blue Hills RCMP received a report stating that Jordan Ross was missing from his residence located near the Grand Valley Park campground in the RM of Whitehead.

Police say that Jordan Ross was last seen the previous morning at approximately 8:15am as he left home to do some work in the campground. His vehicle was later found parked on the shoulder of Highway 1 near the Assiniboine River.

A search was conducted that included several aircraft (helicopter, plane), several zodiacs and numerous volunteers on foot. The search expanded to include RCMP Search and Rescue, the Office of the Fire Commissioner, the Hutterian Emergency Aquatic Response Team (HEART) and many more volunteers.

Jordan Ross is described as 5’10” tall, weighs 175 lbs, has blue eyes and is bald. It is believed he left home wearing his black ankle boots.

Update

On June 30, 2022, at approximately 1pm, Brandon Police Service and Brandon RCMP responded to a report of a body in the Assiniboine River, near Dinsdale Park. The body has been identified as 41-year-old Jordan Ross who was reported missing on June 17, 2022. Criminality is not suspected in the death.
