Swan River RCMP are reporting that a quantity of drugs, firearms and cash were recently seized as the result of a search that occurred at a residence located on Wuskwi Sipihk First Nation.

Earlier this month, as part of an ongoing investigation, the West District Crime Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST), along with Swan River RCMP, executed a search warrant at a residence on Wuskwi Sipihk First Nation.

As a result of the search, officers were able to seize approximately one kilogram of cocaine, a quantity of prescription pills, over $10,000 in Canadian currency, four firearms, ammunition and drug paraphernalia.

Police estimate the street value of the cocaine at approximately $100,000.

RCMP report that a 43-year-old man from the RM of Mountain, was arrested at the residence and is facing several drug and firearms related charges. He was released on conditions with an upcoming court date.
