Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating a number of break-ins that occurred at two Tim Hortons restaurants located in Steinbach. The incidents occurred on the night of December 12 to 13 and at 2am on December 16, 2022.

Police say that in one incident, a pair of thieves entered the business through the drive thru window made off with $250 in cash, along with three drawers that were removed from the cash registers. In the second incident, a thief made off with the charity coin box, which had approximately $250 change in it. Officers noted that subsequent damages caused by the break-in are valued at $300.

One of the suspects is believed to be male with a slim build, and was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans, black and white shoes and a blue backpack.
