Selkirk RCMP are reporting that three suspects, involved in a recent robbery at a local business, were arrested in charged in connection to the incident.

On January 3, 2023, at approximately 9:50pm, Selkirk RCMP received a report of a robbery at a business located on Main Street in Selkirk, Manitoba. Officers noted that an employee had been assaulted during the incident, receiving minor physical injuries as a result.

Police learned that three suspects fled the scene in a vehicle and officers immediately conducted patrols. The suspect vehicle was subsequently located traveling south on Highway 9, near Lower Fort Garry. A traffic stop was initiated, however, the suspect vehicle did not stop.

Officers were eventually able to get the vehicle stopped on Liss Road. At this time, the driver of the vehicle fled on foot, but was apprehended a short distance away. The two passengers inside the vehicle were arrested.

Upon searching the vehicle, RCMP discovered stolen property, as well as methamphetamine, a substance believed to be purple fentanyl, and drug paraphernalia.

RCMP report that 31-year-old Dherraj Kumar, 50-year-old Harpal Singh Braich, and 35-year-old Talvir Munday, all of Winnipeg, will be facing multiple criminal charges in connection to this incident.
