Gypsumville RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing female youth, 12-year-old Zoey Shorting of Little Saskatchewan First Nation.

On January 24, 2023, at 12:20am, Gypsumville RCMP received a report stating that Zoey Shorting was missing. Zoey was last seen leaving her residence in the community at approximately 11pm on January 23.

Officers and Zoey’s family have been actively looking for her since she was reported missing, but have not been able to locate her.

Zoey Shorting is described as 5’3″ tall, weighs 100 pounds, has long brown hair and hazel eyes.

Police believe that Zoey could now be in the Winnipeg area and are concerned for her well-being.
