Thompson RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing man from the area, 27-year-old Ranston (Randy) Dick.

On April 6, 2023, at approximately 11:45am, Thompson RCMP received a report stating that Randy Dick was missing. Randy was last seen Monday, April 3, when it was learned that he was returning to Split Lake and was expected to arrive in the community sometime during the evening hours of April 5.

It is believed that Dick posted a message to social media on April 8, stating that he was ok, but he has not been seen in person and his current whereabouts are unknown.

Randy Dick is described as 6’4″ tall, weighs 250 lbs, has short dark hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and blue jeans.

Police say that all attempts to locate Randy Dick have turned up negative and police are concerned for his well-being.
