Lundar RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing male from Lake Manitoba First Nation, 25-year-old Lyndon McIvor.

On August 27, 2023, Lundar RCMP received a report stating that Lyndon McIvor was missing. Lyndon was last seen on August 26 at 5:30am on the Main Road in the community.

Lyndon McIvor is described as six feet tall, weighs 175 pounds, has black hair, brown eyes and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a black long sleeve Puma shirt, khakis and white Nike shoes. Police noted that Lyndon often wears a baseball cap.

Update

On August 31, 2023, on Lake Manitoba First Nation, searchers located human remains believed to be that of missing person, Lyndon McIvor. His death is considered suspicious and Lundar RCMP, along with Major Crime Services and Forensic Identification Services, continue to investigate.

On September 2, 2023, 36-year-old Barry Leslie Swan, from Lake Manitoba First Nation, was arrested for the homicide of Lyndon McIvor. Swan has been charged with 2nd Degree murder and was remanded into custody.
