Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating a shoplifting incident that occurred at the Sobeys grocery store located at Clearspring Centre in Steinbach.
Police say that on August 28, 2023, at approximately 5:30pm, surveillance footage captured an unknown male suspect exiting the store with a cart full of groceries without paying.
The male suspect is described as 5’10” tall with brown hair and appeared to be in his 30s. He was wearing glasses a Motley Crew t-shirt and blue jeans at the time of the incident.
RCMP report that the approximate value of goods stolen was $500.
