Manitoba RCMP are reporting that a 35-year-old male from Carvel, AB, has recently died as the result of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 7, at a location south of the Provincial Road 229 intersection.
RCMP officers from Stonewall / Headingley recently responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision on Highway 7. Investigators determined that a southbound vehicle, being driven by a 35-year-old male from Carvel, AB, crossed over the center line and collided head-on with a northbound vehicle, being driven by a 40-year-old female from Winnipeg.
Police say that the 35-year-old male was pronounced deceased on scene and the 40-year-old female was flown to Winnipeg hospital where she remains in critical condition.
Stonewall / Headingley RCMP, along with an RCMP Forensic Collision Reconstructionist, continue to investigate.
