A local man is dead after his pickup truck fell off supports, pinning him underneath the vehicle, ultimately leading to his death.
On May 8, 2017, at approximately 6:45 pm, Steinbach RCMP received a report that a man was pinned under a pickup truck on his driveway. When officers arrived on scene, it was discovered that a 49-year-old man had been working on a pickup truck at his residence when the vehicle fell off the supports, pinning him underneath.
RCMP report that the victim was pronounced deceased at the scene and the investigation continues.
