Norway House RCMP are reporting that four people have recently been arrested and charged after a large quantity of drugs was seized resulting from a traffic stop.

Norway House RCMP recently conducted a traffic stop on Osborne Street in the community. While speaking with the driver, officers noticed drug paraphernalia in plain view in the vehicle.

Police say that all four occupants were arrested. A search of the vehicle resulted in the seizure of over 1kg of crack cocaine, Canadian currency, drug paraphernalia, and a baseball bat. The drugs seized have an approximate street value of over $100,000.

RCMP report that a 49-year-old male, a 37- and 31-year-old female, and a 16-year-old male, were all charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 and possession for the purpose of trafficking.

All suspects were released on an undertaking.
