Steinbach RCMP are asking the public for any information that may help identify two suspects who were recently involved in an armed robbery at the Superstore located on Highway 12 North in Steinbach.
On January 14, 2023, at approximately 3:42pm, Steinbach RCMP received a report of an armed robbery that occurred at the Steinbach Superstore.
Police say that a male and female suspect stole several items while shopping at Superstore. The suspects paid for a couple items and then walked out the door with the other stolen items. When confronted by a Superstore employee in the parking lot, the male suspect pulled out a long silver hatchet from his jacket and said “You better step away”. The male and female suspect then left in a black car.
The male suspect is described as being Caucasian, bald with a big black beard, and having a large build. The female suspect is described as being Caucasian, stocky in build, and having long hair.
