Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating a recent theft incident that occurred at the 7-Eleven store located on Brandt Street in Steinbach, Manitoba.

Police say that on June 22, 2017 at 2:46am, an unknown male walked into the Steinbach 7-Eleven store. The suspect then went behind the counter and stole numerous packages and cartons of cigarettes before walking out of the store. He then left the store, heading south on Brandt Street on a black bicycle. The employee and store patrons were not harmed during this incident and called police immediately.

Responding to the call, police made patrols in the area and were unable to locate the male.

The male suspect is described as Caucasian, approximately 5’11” to 6′ tall with a heavier build, light-skinned, possibly Indigenous descent and approximately 30 years of age. He appeared to have lighter brown hair and some facial hair on his chin and neck. The suspect was wearing a black t-shirt with a lighter grey animal depicted in the front centre, black shorts, black and white running shoes and a blue baseball cap with a Winnipeg Jets logo. He also has a visible tattoo on his right forearm and was also wearing a necklace.

Steinbach RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying and locating this individual.
