As part of a months long investigation that began in March of 2025, investigators with the Manitoba RCMP Integrated Law Enforcement Team (MILET) arrested a 32-year-old male on numerous drug offences.
Police say that on June 24, 2025, Mohammad Riyadul Hoque of Winnipeg, was found in possession of 147 grams of crack cocaine, 70 pills believed to be fentanyl, and another quantity of pills believed to be percocet/oxycontin. Members noted that all the drugs were packaged for individual sale.
A subsequent search of a residence in Winnipeg resulted in officers locating and seizing Canadian currency and cell phones. As a result, a 28-year-old Winnipeg man was also arrested for possession of cocaine and later released.
RCMP report that Mohammad Riyadul Hoque has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl and cocaine, possession of proceeds of crime, and failing to comply with conditions of a release order.
