RCMP searching for missing woman, 43-year-old Candace Wastesicoot

Thompson RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing woman from the area, 43-year-old Candace Wastesicoot.

On December 6, 2025, at 11:55pm, Thompson RCMP responded to a residence, located on Ashbury Place in Thompson, to check-in on the wellbeing of Candace Wastesicoot.

Police say that Candace Wastesicoot had fled the scene before officers arrived and she has not been seen or heard from since.

Wastesicoot is described as 5 foot 8 inches tall, weighs 250 lbs, has black hair and black eyes.
