The City of Steinbach is advising the public of snow clearing efforts in the community, as well as updates for the 2026 season.
After snowfalls, the city’s Public Works Department is responsible for removing snow from approximately 130 kilometres of roadways and 56 kilometres of pathways within the city limits.
Officials say that residents play an important role in snow clearing efforts and are required to keep parked vehicles off of all city streets during and after a snowfall event, until such time that streets can be cleared.
Snow clearing updates are provided to inform residents when operations are underway and as a reminder of parking restrictions.
