Steinbach RCMP are currently investigating the theft of construction equipment and vehicle tires that recently occurred at a business located near Blumenort, Manitoba.
Police say that on February 27, 2026, at approximately 1:59am, a lone male suspect attended a business lot located on Road 32 East in the Rural Municipality of Ste. Anne, near Blumenort. The male suspect then exited the vehicle and proceeded to load an insulated construction tarp and truck tires into the van before leaving the area.
RCMP report that the suspect was driving a green and beige minivan with rust on the rear quarter panels. Members noted that the van possibly had a Manitoba Jets licence plate.
The unknown male suspect is described as wearing a black face mask, glasses, beige jacket, blue cargo pants and brown cowboy boots.
