Thompson RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of a missing woman from the area, 54-year-old Evelyn Fortin.
On March 16, 2026, Thompson RCMP received a report stating Evelyn Fortin had gone missing, Evelyn was last seen about two weeks ago by her son at a Thompson-area department store.
Police say that Fortin may be in Winnipeg, but efforts to locate her thus far have been unsuccessful.
Evelyn Fortin is described as about 5 foot 6 inches tall, weighs approximately 155 pounds, has black hair and brown eyes.
