Niverville RCMP are reporting that a male suspect has recently been arrested and charged in connection to a break and enter incident that occurred in New Bothwell, Manitoba.
On March 24, 2026, at 1:09am, Niverville RCMP responded to a report of a commercial alarm at a property located on Fernwood Way in New Bothwell.
Police say that the owner of the property confirmed that a male suspect had entered the property and was seen attempting to steal equipment. The suspect was then observed leaving the property in a pickup truck. The owner then followed him resulting in a confrontation on Road 33E near Zhoda.
Officers attended immediately and arrested the suspect, identified as 20-year-old Ryder Broesky from Sundown.
RCMP report that Broesky was also wanted on three separate arrest warrants for property-related offences in the RM of Hanover, Niverville and Winnipeg. It was later learned that the suspect vehicle had been reported stolen on February 2, 2026, to the Falcon Lake RCMP.
Broesky was released with conditions after his arrest and is to appear in court at a future date in St. Pierre-Jolys where he will be facing charges of break and enter, as well as two charges for possession of stolen property.
