A 55-year-old Ile des Chenes man was left in critical condition after the motorcycle he was driving struck two deer near Tolstoi, Manitoba.
On September 5, 2026, at approximately 8:35pm, Morris RCMP received a report of a motorcyclist who had struck two deer while driving on Highway 59 near Tolstoi, Manitoba.
Officers arrived at the scene, joining local firefighters and paramedics. EMS were currently treating the driver, a 55-year-old male, along with his 52-year-old female passenger. Members noted that both individuals were from Ile des Chenes.
RCMP report that both the driver and passenger were transported to hospital in Winnipeg by air ambulance. The passenger was in critical but stable condition at last report and the driver was in stable condition.
