Two suspects in a murder investigation are facing manslaughter charges after recently being arrested by Pukatawagan RCMP.
On August 19, 2017, at 5:38am, Pukatawagan RCMP responded to an assault in the community. Police say that a 17-year-old male victim of the assault was transported to hospital, where he died as a result of injuries sustained.
At 9:04am on the same day, RCMP Major Crime Services and Pukatawagan RCMP arrested two males from the community. 20-year-old Alexander Bear and 19-year-old Reshawn Muskwa have been charged with manslaughter and remain in custody.
RCMP report that the victim and the accused were known to each other.
