Thompson RCMP are asking the public for any information into the whereabouts of Mervin Paupanekis who is wanted by police for numerous firearms-related offences.
Police say that 31-year-old Ian Mervin Paupanekis of Thompson is currently wanted for multiple firearms-related offences. The offences in question include pointing a firearm as well an attempted armed robbery that recently took place at a business located in Thompson, Manitoba.
RCMP report that Paupanekis is considered armed and dangerous and warn the public that if he is seen to not approach him, but rather contact law enforcement immediately.
