Lorette Skatepark in Dawson Trail Constituency Receiving Grant of $35,000
Bob Lagassé, MLA for Dawson Trail, welcomed an announcement of funding for community development projects across Manitoba, including in the Dawson Trail constituency.
The Manitoba government will be providing more than $1.4 million in grants to projects for non-profit and community-led organizations, community-driven neighbourhood revitalization, and local community development projects. In the Dawson Trail constituency, this new funding announcement includes the Lorette Skatepark Development Project.
“I am very pleased that our government is investing in community development here in the Dawson Trail constituency,” said MLA Lagassé. “Our Progressive Conservative government understands the importance of supporting community development projects and the benefit these projects will deliver across Manitoba. That’s why, in 2017-18, our government has committed more than $20 million to support community development.”
