Two deceased individuals were recently discovered as a result of a trailer fire that occurred at a residential location in Grand Rapids, Manitoba.
At approximately 1:50am on February 17, 2018, Grand Rapids RCMP received a report of a residential trailer fire on Beardy Point Road in Grand Rapids. Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered the trailer was fully engulfed in flames and was quickly destroyed as a result.
RCMP report that two bodies were later located within the trailer.
Grand Rapids RCMP along with Forensic Identification Services, along with the Office of the Fire Commissioner continue to investigate.
