Two deceased men were recently discovered by Steinbach RCMP at a local residence located on Parkwood Cove in Steinbach, Manitoba.
On Saturday, March 31, 2018, at approximately 2pm, Steinbach RCMP responded to a residence on Parkwood Cove in Steinbach. On arrival, officers located the bodies of a 54-year-old male and a 25-year-old male, both from Steinbach. The deceased are reported as father and son and were located within the residence.
Police say that the deaths are considered suspicious, however, RCMP are not searching for any other individuals or suspects related to this matter. RCMP noted that there is no threat to public safety.
Steinbach RCMP, Major Crimes Services and Forensic Identification Services are continuing the investigation.
Update
RCMP report that the investigation into these deaths has concluded. Police confirm that the 54-year-old male victim and the 25-year-old male died as a result of firearm-related injuries.
