Lac du Bonnet and Beausejour RCMP have recovered a number of stolen goods, including a skid steer and several snowmobiles, after investigating a report of a stolen trailer.

On October 11, 2018, Lac du Bonnet and Beausejour RCMP investigated a report of a stolen trailer from the Lac du Bonnet area. The trailer was located during a traffic stop on Highway 59 south of Birds Hill, and as a result, two adult males were arrested and charged.

RCMP report that 49-year-old Neigel Ryan Noel and 40-year-old Cory John Oger of Winnipeg have been charged with possession of stolen property and possession of break-in Instruments. Neigel Noel was also found to have four outstanding warrants.

Based on evidence at the scene, police executed a search warrant at a residence in the RM of Brokenhead where several snowmobiles, an outboard motor and a skid steer were recovered. Police say that a 41-year-old male resident was arrested for possession of stolen property. He was later released with a court date in December in Beausejour Provincial Court.
