Selkirk RCMP are requesting public assistance in locating a missing woman from the community, 25-year-old Malaya Akpalialuk.
Malaya Akpalialuk was reported missing on October 11, 2018. She was last seen on October 4 at an address on Manitoba Avenue in Selkirk.
Malaya is described as Indigenous, 5′ tall with a heavy build. She has dark brown short hair and brown eyes.
