Thompson and Norway House RCMP have seized a large quantity of drugs as a result of recent residential searches conducted over three days.

Between November 8 and 10, 2018, officers from Thompson and Norway House RCMP executed three separate and unrelated search warrants at residences located in Thompson, Paint Lake Provincial Park and Norway House, Manitoba.

On November 8, officers searched a residence located on Granite Crescent in Thompson and seized approximately 58 grams of cocaine along with drug trafficking paraphernalia. As a result, a 41-year-old female and a 31-year-old male, both from Thompson, were arrested for possession for the purpose of trafficking.

On November 9, RCMP searched a residence in Paint Lake Provincial Park and seized approximately 263 grams of cocaine and 76 grams of crack-cocaine along with several pellet guns. In this incident, 45-year-old Nicole Pye and 45-year-old Tyrone Pye, both from Liz Lake, were arrested and charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking.

On November 10, police searched a residence in Norway House and seized a quantity of methamphetamine along with drug trafficking paraphernalia. As a result of the search, two males, ages 28 and 58, along with two females, ages 51 and 58, all from Norway House, were arrested at scene and charges are pending.
