Three individuals were arrested by St. Pierre-Jolys RCMP in connection to a recent robbery incident that occurred at a Tourond, Manitoba business.

On December 23, 2018, at approximately 3:30pm, St. Pierre-Jolys RCMP responded to a robbery at a business located on Highway 59 in Tourond, Manitoba.

Police say that three suspects, two females and one male, had entered the business, took multiple items off the shelves and left without paying. The business owners went outside to confront the suspects at wich point they were threatened with an extendable baton. The three suspects then attempted to leave the business in a stolen vehicle, however the vehicle got stuck in the snow. RCMP officers arrived on scene and arrested the two females inside the vehicle. The male suspect had fled the scene on foot. Patrols were made in the area and officers located fresh footprints in the snow. Officers then followed the footprints to a property approximately one mile from where the robbery occurred and located the male suspect.

RCMP report that 25-year-old Christopher Murdock of Winnipeg was arrested and charged for numerous offences. He also had three outstanding Manitoba-wide warrants for his arrest. 29-year-old Shauna Owen of Winnipeg was arrested and is facing numerous charges. She also had two outstanding Manitoba-wide warrants for her arrest. 33-year-old Amber Roberts of Winnipeg, was arrested and is also facing multiple charges. She as well had three outstanding Manitoba-wide warrants for her arrest.

All three suspects were remanded into custody and police continue to investigate this incident.
